Ken'ichirō Meta ( Japanese 米 田 兼 一郎 Meta Ken'ichirō ; * July 2, 1982 in Kagoshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Meta learned to play soccer on the school team at Kagoshima Josei High School . He signed his first contract with Avispa Fukuoka in 2001 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2001 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club, he completed 82 league games. In 200 he moved to league rivals Kyoto Purple Sanga (today: Kyoto Sanga FC). In 2005 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. At the end of the 2006 season, the club rose again from the J2 League. For the club, he completed 62 league games. In July 2007 he moved to third division Tochigi SC . For the club he completed 16 league games. In 2008 he moved to the second division side Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 80 league games. In 2011 he moved to league rivals Sagan Tosu . For the club he completed five league games. He then played for FC Kagoshima and Tegevajaro Miyazaki . At the end of 2018 he ended his career as a football player.
