Ken (unit)
Ken was a Siamese measure of length and corresponded to the cubit . The measure is considered indeterminate, since the distance between the elbow and the furthest side of the hand always applied in practice. It was more of a control measure because it was only used when dividing pieces of fabric . One traded in pieces and avoided division. Still the measure was about
- 1 Ken = 426 Parisian lines = 24/25 millimeters = 961 millimeters
