Roeneng

Roeneng , also Roening or Roeneng , was a Siamese measure of length and corresponded to the mile. On one degree of the meridian there was 28.95 Roeneng.

  • 1 Roeneng = 100 Sen = 2000 Vouah = 2.4 miles (engl.)
  • 1 Roeneng = ½ mile (German) = 3828 meters (3862.334 meters)

Another scale was

  • 1 Roeneng = 20 Iods = 80 Sen = 1600 Voua = 3200 Ren = 1577 Toises (French)
  • 1 Reneng / Roeneng = ¼ Juta = 100 Sen = 3961.12 meters
