Kenneth Farmer
Kenneth Pentin "Le Plou" Farmer (born July 26, 1912 in Westmount , Québec , † January 12, 2005 in Montréal , Québec) was a Canadian ice hockey player .
Career
Kenneth Farmer began his career as a hockey player in the 1929/30 season with the amateur team Montreal Northern Electric. He then attended McGill University from 1930 to 1934 , while playing for their ice hockey team in parallel with his studies. After completing his studies, he initially played for the Montreal Victorias in the amateur field. As a guest player, he represented Canada with the Port Arthur Bearcats at the 1936 Winter Games. Following the tournament, he spent another three years with the Montreal Victorias. During World War II , he served in the Canadian armed forces. After the war he was active in various Canadian sports associations.
International
For Canada Farmer took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , where he and his team won the silver medal.
