Live and act

Kenneth Hodges began his professional activity in 1938 at Nettlefold Studios, where he was entrusted with various subordinate activities. During the Second World War he was drafted into the Royal Air Force and assigned to its film unit. After military service, Hodges returned to the cinema in 1946, again in civilian life, initially worked as a camera assistant (e.g. for Die kleine Ballerina , Die Weber von Bankdam and Symbol des Glücks , all three in 1947) and from 1949 worked as a simple cameraman Films such as Miss Robin Hood , Laxdale Hall (both 1952), An der Straßenecke ( Street Corner , 1953), The Angel Who Pawned Her Harp , The Love Match (both 1954) and the short film On the Twelfth Day (1956).

In 1958, Ken Hodges made his debut in a horror film as chief cameraman. Apart from a few routine A-productions in the late 1960s ( miniskirt and crown jewels , The Locked Door , Secret Mission K , The Trail Leads to Soho and David Copperfield ), Hodges photographed mostly second-rate cheap films, most recently in the 1970s, only from the Criticism hardly noticed sex comedies and comedies.

Ken Hodges also worked intensively for (series) television from 1956 until the end of his career in 1980.
