Ken Shadie

Ken Shadie (* in Bondi , New South Wales ) is an Australian screenwriter .

Life

Shadie worked for the radio until the early 1970s. Since 1973 he has been active as a freelance writer for film and television.

For his work on Crocodile Dundee , he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Original Screenplay in 1987 together with Paul Hogan and John Cornell . The three were also nominated for the Saturn Award and the British Academy Film Award .

Shadie has been married since 1957 and has two sons.
