Kenji Kikawada ( Japanese 黄川田 賢 司 , Kikawada Kenji ; born October 28, 1974 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kikawada learned to play football on the school team of Sayamagaoka High School and the university team of Asia University . He signed his first contract in 1997 with Consadole Sapporo . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1997 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . At the end of the 1998 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2000 he became champions of the J2 League with the club and rose again to the J1 League. For the club he completed 92 games. In 2002 he moved to the second division side Kawasaki Frontale . For the club he completed 39 games. At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
