Kenji Kitahara ( Japanese 北 原 健 二 , Kitahara Kenji ; born May 10, 1976 in Nagano Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Kitahara learned to play soccer on the school team of Ina Kita High School and the university team of Gakugei University of Tokyo . He signed his first contract in 1999 with the Omiya Ardija . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed seven games. In 2000 he moved to league competitor Mito HollyHock . For the club he played six games. He then played for Gunma FC Horikoshi (2001-2004). At the end of 2004 he ended his career as a soccer player.
