The Kennedy Square is a place in Darmstadt .
description
The 40 m long and 30 m wide area was named after John F. Kennedy in the 1950s . The John F. Kennedy House is on the north edge of the square . In the middle of Kennedyplatz there is a small green area; in the middle of which there are three abstract bronze sculptures . There is a round fountain in the southwest corner . The fountain has a diameter of approx. 8 m. It consists of a concrete basin and an approximately 0.5 m high and 0.4 m wide rim made of red sandstone .
