Darmstadt's city ​​center is centrally located within Darmstadt . The district has an area of ​​233 hectares and around 20,000 inhabitants. It is divided into the statistical districts of the city ​​center , Rheintor / Grafenstrasse , Hochschulviertel , Kapellplatzviertel and St. Ludwig with Eichbergviertel .
