Kennevic Asuncion

Kennevic Chua Asuncion (born March 21, 1980 ) is a Filipino badminton player .

Career

Kennevic Asuncion is active in both singles and doubles, but has so far achieved his greatest successes in mixed with his sister Kennie Asuncion . Both qualified for the Asian Championships in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2009, but could never advance into medal regions. They were more successful at the Peru International 2005, the Ballarat International 2006 and the Babolat North Harbor International 2006, each of which they were able to make victorious. At the Philippines Open 2006 they were in the final, at the US Open 2007, the Vietnam Open 2006 and the Canada Open 2002 in the semifinals. In 2010 Asuncion won the Maldives International mixed with Karyn Velez .
