Kenny Morris

Kenny Morris (* 1957 in Essex ) is a British artist and musician.

Morris was born in Essex to Irish parents and lived in London from 1973 . He studied arts at Barnet College of Further Education and Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. In 1977 he was the drummer of Siouxsie and the Banshees , where he to as bassist for the Sex Pistols changing Sid Vicious replaced. Morris was involved in the recording of the first two Siouxise albums The Scream and Join Hands as well as in various Peel Seesions , but left the band in 1979.

In the following years he first devoted himself to his studies. In 1986 he worked on film a. a. seen at the Berlin International Film Festival . In 1987 he released the maxi single "La main morte" on Temple Records , which contained music for two films, including one about Auguste Rodin , but was only released in limited numbers. In 1993 he moved to Kildare, Ireland .
