Labeling requirement
There are various legally prescribed labeling requirements :
- Provider identification in the Telemedia Act, see imprint obligation
- Obligations for product labeling :
- Energy consumption labeling for household appliances ( EnVKV ) and cars ( PKW-EnVKV )
- Labels for food, regulated in the food labeling ordinance and the additives approval ordinance
- Marking of firearms, regulated in the Arms Act
- Labeling for the composition of textiles, regulated in the Textile Labeling Act
- Electricity labeling based on the composition of the electricity produced
- Identification of parrots and parakeets regulated in the Federal Species Protection Ordinance . The marking is done with foot rings .
- Identification requirements for police officers
