The cenotaph is located north of the church in the churchyard directly on the church wall. It was created in memory of Rittmeister Franz Johann Ludwig Alberthal (1778–1813), who died in the Battle of Dennewitz on September 6, 1813. On the long sides of the sarcophagus there are coats of arms with the iron cross and the inscription "With God for King and Fatherland". The following inscription is on the front panel: “Franz Johann Ludwig Alberthal, born in Berlin on March 25, 1778, follows the call with God for King and Fatherland as Rittmeister of the 3rd Squadron of the 4th Kurmark Landwehr Cavalry Regiment.
