The Kent Plateau is an approximately 20 km long, 6.5 km wide and ice-covered high plateau in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It stretches north from Mount Egerton and Kiwi Pass to the area around Mount Hamilton in the Churchill Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1965 after Commander Donald F. Kent of the United States Navy , logistics officer under Rear Admiral George J. Dufek in the first Operation Deep Freeze (1955-1956).
