The Rheinsberg Ceramics Museum is a special museum in Rheinsberg in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in Brandenburg . It shows the more than 250-year tradition of the Rheinsberg ceramic factories.

The museum, which opened in 2002, is located in the city center of Rheinsberg, in the old syringe house , right next to the St. Laurentius Church - within sight of Rheinsberg Castle . Around 600 exhibits show the history of the ceramics manufacture from its beginnings in 1762 as a faience manufacture under Prince Heinrich of Prussia , through its success as an early earthenware producer to the mass production of the famous Rheinsberg teapot. The Rheinsberger Walzenkrug became famous . A puppet theater of famous personalities in the tower of the Spritzenhaus demonstrates the history of ceramics in Rheinsberg in an entertaining way. An original film rough cut from 1938 also shows how work was done in the workshops.

The privately run museum is sponsored and financed by ACHATporzellan Rheinsberg . It is open from February to December.
