Kerim Pamuk

Kerim Pamuk (* 1970 in Turkey) is a German writer and cabaret artist of Turkish origin.

Life and work

Pamuk was born in a village on the Turkish Black Sea coast . When his parents immigrated to Germany, he and his sister initially stayed with their grandfather. At the age of nine he was made up for, he managed to learn German within two years, completed secondary school, advanced high school and high school. He studied German and Turkish studies at the Hamburg University. He lives and works in Hamburg .

He tours nationwide with his cabaret programs and readings.

He became known for his stage programs (including LEIDKULTUR, BURKA & BIKINI, BROTHERS IN THE SPIRIT, SELFIES FOR THE BLIND CREW)

His books were published under the titles "Speak slowly, Turk" (2003), "Alles roger, Hodscha?" (2005), "Allah forgives the caretaker not" (2009), "Islam, Islam, what Islam?" (2017) and "Kiffen, Kaffee & Kajal" (2019).
