Keriya

Keriya ( Chinese 于田 县 , Pinyin Yútián Xiàn ; Uighur كېرىيە ناھىيىسى, Keriyə Naⱨiyisi ) is a district of the Hotan administrative district in the south of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in the northwest of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 39,095 km² and has 220,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the Keriya community .
The ruined city of Yuansha ( Yuansha gucheng ) from the time of the Western Han Dynasty has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-130) since 2001 .
