Kermanic languages

Kermanic or Kurdish-Central Iranian is a subunit of Northwest Iranian that combines the Kurdish and Central Iranian languages. The thesis about the closer genetic unity of these two groups comes from the Iranist Jost Gippert . The term Kermanic refers to the area of Kermanshah , where one can find older forms of dialects that have a structure similar to that of the Kurdish and Central Iranian languages.
