Kerry Gauthier

Kerry Gauthier (born November 6, 1955 in Duluth , Minnesota ) is an American politician and social worker .

Life

Gauthier attended Morgan Park High School and studied social sciences at the College of St. Scholastica and the University of Wisconsin . After completing his studies, he worked as an employee at the Lake Superior Treatment Center . As a politician, he became a member of the Democratic Party . Gauthier was a member of Duluth City Council from 2009 until the end of 2010. From January 2011 to the end of 2012, he was the successor to Roger Reinert as a member of the House of Representatives from Minnesota . Gauthier did not run for the November 2012 election after having a sexual affair with a 17-year-old man.
