The Minnesota House of Representatives (Minnesota House of Representatives) is the lower house of the Minnesota State Legislature , the Legislature of the State of Minnesota .

The House of Representatives consists of 134 members, which is twice as many as the other house, the Minnesota Senate . Each of the electoral districts in the House of Representatives is divided into two parts, designated by A and B, e.g. B. District 32B is geographically within Senate District 32. Deputies are elected for two-year terms; there is no limit to the terms of office. Both chambers of parliament meet every year between January and the third Monday in May, but this does not amount to more than 120 days within two years.

The House of Representatives boardroom, along with the State Senate, is located in the Minnesota State Capitol in the capital, Saint Paul . The offices of all MPs are in the State Office Building, which is connected to the western part of the Capitol by a tunnel. Most of the committee meetings take place in the building.
