The Senate of Delaware ( Delaware State Senate ) is the upper house of the Delaware General Assembly , the legislature of the US state of Delaware .
The Chamber of Parliament is composed of 21 senators, each representing an electoral district. This is elected by the majority parliamentary group in the Senate and later confirmed by the Chamber. The current Vice-Governor and Senate President is the Democrat Matthew P. Denn , President pro tempore the Democrat Anthony J. DeLuca from the 11th constituency ( New Castle County ).
