Sylvia Papházy

Sylvia Papházy (born August 12, 1962 in Vienna ) is an Austrian lawyer and former politician ( FPÖ ). Papházy was a member of the National Council from 1999 to 2002 .

education and profession

After primary school, Sylvia Papházy attended the Academic Gymnasium in Vienna, where she passed her Matura in 1980. She then studied law at the University of Vienna and graduated in 1985 with the academic degree Dr. iur. from. Papházy also completed an Executive MBA (Master of Business Administration) course and completed an IMADEC-CSUH course from 1997 to 1998 .

Papházy completed her legal practice with a lawyer and worked there as a trainee from 1985 to 1986. From 1987 to 1988 she worked for an insurance company and from 1988 to 1999 set up a seminar organization (Manz seminars). In addition, she was a member of the management team at Manz Verlag from 1991 to 1999 . After the end of her political career in the National Papházy worked for the Ombudsman's Office Vienna.

Papházy came into politics as a lateral entrant and was a member of the National Council from October 29, 1999 to December 19, 2002. She named the areas of science, education and teaching as the main focuses of her work as a member of parliament.

Papházy has a daughter.
