Kerry Island is a small island off the Mawson Coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the group of Flat Islands it is 3 km northwest of Mawson Station in the immediate vicinity of Jongens Island .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 2009 after Knowles Kerry, the lead scientist in the marine biology program of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions .
