The Kettering Tower is a skyscraper in Dayton , Ohio . At 123 meters (407 ft ) and 30 stories, it is the tallest building in the city. It was designed by Lorenz + Williams, Inc. and completed in 1971 after 2 years of construction. With 45423 the tower has its own address.

Construction began in 1969 on the site of the former Mutual Home Building. During the work, a crane collapsed, damaging several floors. It was completed in 1971 under the name Winters Bank Building. It then opened for businesses 1 year after its completion in 1972. In 2005, it was purchased by New York- based Kettering Tower Partners LLC for $ 21.9 million. It was previously known as the Winters Bank Tower. It is administered by a court appointed trustee and is scheduled to be auctioned at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Auction. He estimated the value at US $ 16.2 million.

The tower's amenities include Michael's of Dayton Restaurant. The Dayton Racquet Club is also located here, which also includes a fitness center. There is a large branch of Chase Bank on the second floor . An ophthalmologist and a masseur are located on the ground floor. The tenants mainly include law firms.
