Kevin Evans (cyclist)
Kevin Evans (born June 6, 1978 ) is a retired South African road cyclist and mountain biker .
Kevin Evans drove as a road driver for the South African team MTN between 2008 and 2010 . In his first year there, he won the fifth stage of the Tour of Egypt to Sharm El-Sheikh . In 2010 he became the South African champion in the individual time trial.
Evans was five times South African champion in mountain biking, including four times in marathons and once in cross country . Evans won the prologue with his partner David George at the 2010 Cape Epic MTB stage race .
Evans retired in May 2015. In 2016 he was charged by the South African Anti-Doping Agency with irregularities in his blood passport .
