Kevin Martin (singer)
Kevin Martin (born April 9, 1969 in Elgin , Illinois ) is an American singer and musician. He became known as a singer, guitarist and main songwriter for the rock band Candlebox .
Martin founded the band Candlebox in 1991 together with Scott Mercado , Peter Klett and Bardi Martin . The group released three study albums until they split in 1999.
Kevin Martin then went on a solo path and together with Colin Duchin founded his own band Kevin Martin & the Hiwatts , which in 2002 released the only album The Possibility of Being . After seven years of separation, Kevin Martin and the other founding members announced the reunion of Candlebox in 2006 . In 2008 the album Into the Sun was released.
In 2009, Martin teamed up with former members of the band Live to create the side project The Gracious Few .
