Khalid Ahmad Irfan (born March 10, 1993 ) is an Afghan soccer player who was last under contract with the Afghan first division club De Maiwand Atalan and was active in the U-23 national team .
Career
Club career
Irfan made his debut on August 29, 2014 in a 3-1 win over Simorgh Alborz . He got two goals. He was used in all games and was able to score two more goals a. a. against De Spinghar Bazan . At the end of the 2014 season, De Maiwand Atalan took 4th place and Irfan also secured 4th place in the scorers' list.
National team
In March 2015 Irfan was nominated by coach Hosein Saleh to join the 23-man squad of the U-23 national team for the qualifying games for the 2016 Asian Cup . He made his debut on March 25, 2015 against Nepal (2-0) when he came on for Parwiz Kazemi in the 73rd minute. Three minutes later he was also able to score his first goal for the interim 1-0 lead.
