The Khmer Will Party ( KWP ) is a Cambodian party . It was founded on April 25, 2018. Its chairman, Kong Monika, is a son of Kong Korms, a former high-ranking member of the National Rescue Party of Cambodia (CNRP), which was dissolved by the Cambodian Supreme Court in November 2017, and president of the predecessor Sam Rainsy party . This and two older brothers Kong Monikas, Kong Bora and Kong Sophea, along with 115 other members of the former CNRP, were banned from any political activity for five years. The unencumbered Kong Monika wants to continue their opposition politics. Kong Monika previously worked for the Australian and US embassies, USAID and the Senate.

At its inaugural conference on July 1, 2018, the KWP described itself as the “soul of the CNRP” and stated that its goal was to win over three million former CRNP voters. The party wants to fight corruption and nepotism , advocate freedom of expression and assembly, and seek appropriate constitutional changes.

In the national parliamentary elections in 2018 , the KWP was the fourth strongest party, but could not win a seat. 60% of their candidates were former CNRP members. Monika described Sam Rainsy's call to boycott the elections and his threat to organize a popular uprising in the event of a victory for the ruling Cambodian People's Party as wrong and contrary to international norms. Despite the result, which was far from the stated goal, Kong Monika declared that she was satisfied with it.

On January 27, 2019, the former legal advisor to the defunct Cambodia National Rescue Party , Kong Korm, was appointed honorary president of the KWP.
