Khok Phlap
Khok Phlap ( Thai : โคก พลับ ) is an archaeological site in the central plain of Thailand between the Chao Phraya and Mae Klong rivers .
Location and excavation history
Khok Phlap is located in Tambon Pho Hak, Bang Phae District , Ratchaburi Province .
In 1978, the Thai archaeologist Sod Daeng-iet carried out excavations over an area of around 1.5 hectares and discovered various human graves.
Finds
Clay vessels and bronze bracelets , turtle shells, stone and bones were found in the graves . Some jars were filled with shellfish . Bronze spear and arrow heads were found on remains found in Ban Chiang and Ban Na Di point. Radiocarbon dates have not been recorded or published, but many material objects appear to have evolved at the same time as Nong Nor .
