Khungtaidschi Sengge (Mongolian: ᠰᠡᠩᠭᠡ ᠬᠤᠩᠲᠠᠶᠢᠵᠢ, Cyrillic: хунтайж Сэнгэ, MNS: khuntaij Senge ; also: Sengge Khuntaij) or short Sengge , died in 1671 , was a oiratisch -mongolischer Khan of Djungarian Khanate .

Sengge ruled the khanate from 1653 until his death in 1671. He was one of nine sons of Khungtaiji Batur . His father saw in him his most capable son, appointed him his successor - Khung Taiji - and handed over the southern half of the khanate to him. The other brothers got the northern half, but they did not agree to this arrangement. In particular, his half-brothers Tsetsen Taishi and Tsodba Batur tried again and again to murder him.

In 1667, Sengge defeated Erincin Lobsang Tayishi , the third Altan Khan of the Chalcha , thereby eliminating the Altan Khanate as a possible threat to the Djungarian Khanate. In 1671 he was murdered by his two half-brothers Tsetsen Taishi and Tsodba Batur . He was succeeded by his brother Khungtaidschi Galdan .
