Kiasseh

Kiasseh , also Chiasse , was a unit of mass (weight) in Albania . The measure was intended for corn and wheat . Other things, along with other measures like Tschenack or Xaj , were weighed according to the Tagari , which was equal to 20 Oken . There were regional differences.

Vlora : 1 Kiasseh = 44 Oken (≈ 1.28 kilograms ) = 112 pounds ( Prussia = 30 Lot) plus 22 Lot (Prussia = 16.667 grams) = 56.368 kilograms
Durrës : 1 Kiasseh = 25 Oken = 64 pounds 1 Lot = 32.017 kilograms
Berat : 1 Kiasseh = 35 Oken = 89 pounds 20 Lot = 44.834 kilograms
