The box was a German piece measure. The measure was used in the sea ​​fish trade . In Lübeck it was the Schullen-Kiepe or Schollenkiepe.

  • In Lübeck 1 box = 30 stairs = 600 pieces of small clods (Schullen)
  • In Lübeck 1 box = 30 stairs = 300 pieces of large clods
