Kieran Merrilees (born September 12, 1989 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish badminton player .

Career

Kieran Merrilees was the first Scottish champion in men's singles in 2011. a year later he was able to defend the title. He had already participated in the Badminton World Championships in 2010, but was eliminated in the first round. At the Welsh International 2008 he was second, a year later third as well as 2011. At the Bulgarian International 2009 he was also second. In 2006 he won the Croatian Juniors and in 2012 the Polish Open . In 2014 he won the Welsh International .
