The Kiessee is located in the municipality of Teichland in the Spree-Neisse district in Brandenburg .
It is a remnant lake of the former gravel construction, has an area of 21 hectares and is a popular recreation and bathing resort for the residents of the surrounding towns of Mouse , Neuendorf and Wilmersdorf. The use of boats on the lake is only permitted for management purposes. Inside the lake is a small island that is mainly used by birds.
