Kiev-Balta Railway
The Kiev-Balta Railway (Russian Киево-Балтская железная дорога / Kiewo-Baltskaja schelesnaja doroga ) was a railway company in the Russian Empire .
The company was founded in 1868 and existed until 1870 when it was sold to the Kiev-Brester and Odessa railways to the Brest-Odessa railways .
The following routes were built by the company:
- Kiev – Shmerinka (253 werst, opened on May 26, 1870)
- Schmerinka – Birsula (186 werst, opened on May 26, 1870)
- Kasatin – Berditschew (25 werst, opened July 15, 1870)
