Kiki Keren-Huss

Kiki Keren-Huss (* 1955 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli composer.

Life

Keren-Huss studied at the Rubin Music Academy and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and was Abel Ehrlich's student of composition . She teaches composition and film music at the Musrara School for Photography, New Media and New Music, and David Yelin College .

In addition to chamber music works, Keren-Huss composed a. a. three chamber operas, film music and electroacoustic music and created sound art works, partly in collaboration with dancers and visual artists. Your compositions were u. a. Performed at the Israeli Contemporary Music Biennale, the Israeli Music Days in Jerusalem, and the American Composers Forum's Sonic Circuits Electronic Music Festival. She dedicated two works for piano and electronics to the pianist Ora Rotem-Nelken .
