Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance
The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance ( Hebrew האקדמיה למוסיקה ולמחול בירושלים) is an Israeli university specializing in music and dance. It is located on the Givat Ram campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was founded in 1958 as the Rubin Academy of Music.

history
The Israeli composer Josef Tal headed the college from 1948 to 1952, which was founded in 1933 by Emil Hauser as a conservatory. The Israeli dancer Hassia Levy-Agron established the dance division from 1965. From 1984 to 1993 the Israeli conductor Mendi Rodan directed the college.
