David D'Or
David D'Or sings his song To Believe at the Blue and White Party a few days before the semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 .
David D'Or (born October 2, 1965 in Cholon , Israel ; actually David Nehaisi ) is an Israeli countertenor .
David D'Or is active worldwide and gave concerts for the Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej and for the Pope John Paul II in the Vatican City .
In 1991 he started his music career as a tenor . In the same year he sang a solo part in the Carmina Burana by Carl Orff . In 2001 he was the singer of the year in Israel . In 2004 he participated for Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul . His song To Believe reached 11th place in the semifinals and missed the final.
