Jardena Arasi ( Hebrew ירדנה ארזי; * September 25, 1951 in Kibbutz Kabri) is an Israeli singer.

Jardena was born on a kibbutz in western Galilee . Her father, David Feinbaum, had immigrated from Germany and was a member of the Irgun . Her mother, Yvette Loinger, came from Strasbourg and was a cousin of the pantomime Marcel Marceau . The Hebrew family in 1951 changed their name to Arasi and moved to Haifa in 1953 , where Jardena grew up. From 1969 she did her military service in the Israeli army with Lahakat Nachal , Nachal's entertainment troop . In the 1970s she was a member of the Chocolate Menta Mastik trio , with whom she came 6th in the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Emor shalom . As a soloist, she released a German-language single, Sinai , in 1981 , which was written and produced by Bernd Augener and Hanne Haller .

At the Eurovision Song Contest 1979 in Jerusalem she was (co-) host. In 1988 she took part again in the competition and took 7th place with the song Ben Adam . Besides Sakis Rouvas and Željko Joksimović , she is the only participant who actively participated in the ESC after moderating it.
