Sílvia Alberto
Sílvia Alberto (born May 18, 1981 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese television presenter and actress. She studied theater at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon and currently works for the Portuguese television station RTP .
Career
Alberto began her career in 2000 as the host of Clube Disney on RTP1. In the following years she hosted various programs on RTP and SIC , where she co-hosted the first two seasons of the casting show Ídolos and the Portuguese Golden Globes in 2004 . She was also the host of the shows Dança Comigo , Operação Triunfo and the talent show Aqui há talento on RTP.
Sílvia Alberto is best known, however, as the presenter of seven editions of the Festival da Canção , the Portuguese national preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest .
On January 8th, 2018 it was announced that she will be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon together with Filomena Cautela , Daniela Ruah and Catarina Furtado .
