Doireann Ni Bhriain

Doireann Ní Bhriain (* 1952 in Dublin ) is an Irish presenter .

She came to RTÉ in 1972 and moderated first for the children's program, later for the news formats Tangents and Féach . From 1979 she worked for the radio station RTÉ Radio 1 and worked as a co-presenter on Woman Today and The Woman's Programs . In 1981 she hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin . At the end of the 1980s she was also active as a producer for Radio 1, where she made documentaries. In 1993 she left the station and organized music events. Since the 2000s she has been working for the radio again as a freelance speaker and radio producer as well as a voice trainer.
