Jacques Deschenaux

Jacques Deschenaux (born December 9, 1945 in the canton of Friborg ) is a Swiss sports presenter .

Deschenaux, who works for the broadcaster Télévision Suisse Romande (TSR), regularly moderated sporting events such as alpine skiing and the Olympic Games . He became best known as Monsieur F1 , the commentator on Formula 1 broadcasts since 1973. Together with Lolita Morena , he moderated the Concours Eurovision de la Chanson 1989 in Lausanne . From 1994 to 2001 he was head of the sports department of TSR.
