Léon lemon

Léon Lemon (born November 25, 1914 in Petrograd , † November 25, 1995 in Levallois-Perret ) was a French presenter of Russian descent.

Lemon came to France when he was six because his parents were fleeing Russian communism. He studied journalism at the University of Applied Sciences in Paris and was hired as a newscaster for the French broadcaster RTF in the early 1960s due to his talent for languages . He stayed true to this profession for almost twenty years. In addition, he took on a wide variety of tasks, commenting on the Tour de France , the Olympic Games , French national holidays or various other events for TF1 or Antenne 2 . Together with Denise Fabre he presented the Concours Eurovision de la Chanson 1978 in Paris . He had short appearances in numerous French film productions or was heard as a speaking voice.
