action

Panic at Buckingham Palace : Queen Elizabeth II was kidnapped during a golf tournament. Since the British secret service's best secret agent had died three years earlier, they felt compelled to ask their French colleagues for administrative assistance. In solving this case, they assure the support of the four worst secret agents, the comedy troupe Les Charlots . A state visit to Hong Kong is completed with a cleaning lady as a doppelganger.

Reviews

The lexicon of the international film was not impressed: "The bold mixture of car chases, car crashes and gags from the moth box ultimately only delivers over-the-top slapstick."

The Zeit film critic Bodo Fründt felt well entertained in the "insane action parody" given the ease of acting in the performance of a breathtaking repertoire of tricks. This also made up for the fact that there was no such thing as a “coherent story”.
