Pat Kenny

Pat Kenny (aka Patrick Kenny ; born January 29, 1948 in Dublin ) is an Irish radio and television presenter .

Kenny studied chemical engineering at University College Dublin . From the mid-1970s he became active at RTÉ Radio 1 , first as a program announcer and radio DJ , and later started his own daily morning magazine Today . In the mid-1980s, he was also active in RTÉ 's television program . He briefly hosted Today Tonight magazine and his first own talk show, The Pat Kenny Show . In 1988 he hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin with Michelle Rocca . That year began his weekly nightly talk show Kenny Live , which he hosted until 1999. He then switched to one of the oldest and most famous talk show formats in Ireland, the Late Late Show . Here he received weekly talk guests until 2009. Since 2009 he has moderated the Monday panel discussion The Frontline .
