Filomena José Dias Fernandes Cautela (born December 16, 1984 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese television presenter and actress . In 2000 she began her acting career in the theater. In 2004 she played a role in a movie for the first time. She also works as a presenter for MTV Portugal and the Portuguese broadcaster RTP .
Career
Cautela continues her acting career in film and theater, but at the same time works for various television channels. Among other things, she has moderated the talk show 5 Para a Meia-Noite for the RTP broadcaster since 2015.
She is known as a particularly unadjusted and direct moderator.
In 2019 she was one of the contributors to the cross-European music video Do they know it's Europe .
Eurovision Song Contest
In 2017 Filomena Cautela moderated the Green Room at the national preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest, Festival da Canção . She also awarded the points of the Portuguese jury in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 .
On January 8, 2018 it was announced that she would be one of the four presenters of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, along with Sílvia Alberto , Daniela Ruah and Catarina Furtado . She also moderated the 2018 Festival da Canção together with Pedro Fernandes.
