Jovana Janković
Jovana Janković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Јована Јанковић * 25. April 1981 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian TV presenter .
Life
After studying cultural management at the BK Art Academy (Akademija umetnosti BK), Janković entered the Serbian television business at the age of 19. She was initially employed by the private Serbian television broadcaster BKTV . There she moderated the programs "Blockbuster" and "Trailer", which dealt with the latest cinema productions. She also worked in the television station's newsroom.
After the private broadcaster BKTV left, Jovana switched to the public service RTS . For several years she has been moderating the daily breakfast television "Jutarnji program" with her colleague Srđan Predojević. With this program, which is broadcast from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., Janković achieved the highest level of awareness among the Serbian audience to date. Thanks to Janković's youth, the show quickly gained a young fan base and Janković appeared on the covers of “Gloria”, “Svet”, “TV Revija” and “TV Novosti”.
In addition, Janković moderated the 2007 pop music festival in Vrnjačka Banja . She also has a small film role behind her. In “Četvrti čovek” ( Fourth Man ) she played a journalist.
Janković successfully trained handball from the age of 12 to 17 and was named the best player in Serbia for three years in a row.
In 2005 she chose the Ford Models fashion agency as the "Style Conscious Celebrity". In the following year the fashion agency “Select” honored her as “Celebrities with the best styling”.
Janković went down in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006. She was the first points announcer to give the points from a country that had no contribution to the race that year.
In January she moderated the semi-final draw for the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade and in March the gala at which the starting order in the semi-finals of the competition was drawn. In May 2008 she hosted the finals together with Željko Joksimović .
Janković and Željko Joksimović have been a couple since the contest and were married in January 2012 in the Maldives . In April 2014, both became parents of a son.
