Andrei Nikolajewitsch Malachow ( Russian Андрей Николаевич Малахов ; born January 11, 1972 in Apatity ) is a Russian television presenter .

While studying journalism at Lomonossow University in Moscow , he worked as a radio presenter for the private broadcaster Maximum . He also completed two semesters abroad at the University of Michigan . After graduating in 1995, he switched to the television program Perwy kanal , where he presented music programs and talk shows such as Pust goworjat (from 2001). Together with Natalja Vodjanowa he moderated the two semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 .

In 2017 he switched to the station Rossija 1 . Here he moderates the Saturday evening show Hello Andrei .
