Avi Toledano

Avi Toledano (born April 4, 1948 in Meknes , Morocco ) is an Israeli singer and composer.

As an artist, he was best known as a participant in the Eurovision Song Contest . In 1982 he represented Israel in this competition and achieved second place behind Nicole from Germany with his song Hora , albeit with a gap of 61 points.

The following year he composed the Israeli contribution Khay of Ofra Haza . The song also reached number two.

He also took part in the Israeli Kdam-Eurovision preliminary round several times .
